Tunnel Relief

Are these the signs of carpel tunnel?
Sometimes my hand goes numb and I can’t really move it, and right no I brief shot of pain. Best tips for relief or should I just rest my head on a soft pillow and hope it goes away. I type on a computer A LOT would that be a cause?
