What are transport jobs in the hospital? And do you have to have any experience to work as a transport?
I am a college student looking for summer work in the medical profession. Any suggestions would be helpful. Only serious answers please. Thanks!!
Transport is where you transfer patients in to other rooms of the hospital. All you do is report to whomever needs you in the hospital and you wheel the patient in a bed or you take them to their next room by wheel chair. The staff at the hospital put them on the chair or bed, you don’t have to, all you do is put them on the elevator and take up or down to whatever room is designated. You don’t need any experience, just willing to work and no police record, they do check. They also have openings in dietary. It entails cooking for staff and patients. There is also housekeeping. Ceaning the hospital rooms and all areas. They also have office positions experience is sometimes needed.
