Transfer Bath
Water has stopped coming out of the shower, What to do?
My shower and bath water of both controlled by the same faucets, with an extra facet in the middle to change water flow form the bath tap to the shower head. Pretty standard stuff. Apparently out of the blue, the water no longer transfers to the shower head, when i turn the transfer faucet everything just stops. The water stop coming out of the bath but doesn’t come out of the shower head, except for just a trickle.
Cant think of what may have caused it, but i have been experimenting with differant shower heads lately.
Any ideas how to fix this?

There is a little diverter behind that ‘faucet’ in the middle. It is very easy to repair. Remove the set screw holding the handle on and take it off. Remove the two screws holding that plate on. Remove the plate. There should be either a metal rod going into the wall or a metal flange. Remove the cotter pin or screw connecting it. Look inside and you will see your problem. You will either be able to pull it out from there and replace it or you will need to access it from the panel behind the pipes (probably in the other room! If there is one). Otherwise, it could be a real problem having to make an access to those pipes either from behind or right there in the shower enclosure.
