I hate the idea of having a big thing on my foot all night, but I want what works best.
Any advice?
If you want to avoid a big thing on your foot, then use one of the socks (i recommend the last one on the list). However, it can be uncomfotable having your toes lifted like that if you toss and turn in your sleep. In that case, I would try the second one, mainly because it is not as pricy as the first (100 pounds is about 200 dollars) and it seems adequate. In the end, it is up to you to decide what you think will be most comfortable in your sleep (having a big thing on your foot isn’t so bad–i once had a short leg cast, and after the first week or so, i couldn’t even notice that it was there. it just takes some getting used to).
