Out of these inventions, what do you think would be the order of the 10 greatest inventions (in order of importance)? Explain why you chose each one.

The reason I have selected the simplest as the greatest inventions is because they were invented with no prior experience or knowledge. They did not resemble anything that had ever existed and were the direct result of somebody thinking deeply about how to solve a problem with no science, math, or other ideas that preceeded it.

This assumes going back to the beginning and you are starting from scratch, with everybody living in one place and now they need to spread out and conquer the world.

You need basic things. Airplanes and ovens and microwaves and computers will come later… but the most important inventions are those that will provide you with the ability to spread out, communicate, engage in commerce, and protect yourself. Each of these ten items I have selected are really important for that to happen. I would have added knive to the list of choices as that was the earliest form of protection and hunting for food. With these ten items you can live, grow, reproduce, and conquer the earth.
