Severe pain between the shoulder blade and spine when you look down?
I have a right paracentral disc herniation at c6-7 I got from a month ago 8 MVA. Since the accident my main complaint has been an excruciating pain around the edge of my right shoulder blade every time I try to look down. At first I said was as a result of whiplash and leave. I had symptoms very little on my shoulder or arm. Occassionall I have slight numbness and tingling in his right forearm and hand and have a tendency to let things go for any reason. Nerve conduction is normal shows no signs of cervical radiculopathy, but proof that it was me down comfortably and was in almost no pain during the test. I have taken the test to be done again with flexion and extension, but was told the results would be them. therapy strain on my neck helps a little with the pain. Laying flat with his head almost no pain, but i cannot look down! anyone ever had heard of this or this help please
Best to do MRI and consult a neurosurgeon or spine surgeon better as soon as possible. Is likely to have nerve entrapment. It is possible that physical therapy after consultation with a neurosurgeon or spine surgeon.
