What glucose reading do you have to have that would be.. diabetic?
I don’t know how to ask this question or if there is an answer, but what reading do you have to have that’ll say you are a diabetic if that makes sense. My aunt gave my mom a free glucose reading monitor with the lancet and the strips, and the device. FREE! Now we were excited to use it.. but however, there was no lancet device and my mom and I were scared to death to stab our fingers lol…
When I get the huevos to do it, what readings are normal.. or diabetic? Etc etc…
Relax! It’s very simple. Now, if you don’t have a lancet, you can buy it in the drugstore, and the store would even demonstrate to you how to use the glucose meter device.
Generally, it is claimed that a normal person would get the following results when they test for Blood Sugar in the blood:
Fasting less than 100 mg/dL or less than 5.6 mmol/L
2 hrs. less than 140 mg/dL or less than 7.8 mmol/L
after meals
For the diabetic, you would get much more than that. However, if you are under treatment/medication, then you should ideally have those readings stated above too. Good luck to you and God bless.
