Strech Brace

Strech Brace
What could be better?

Tomorrow I'll be 36 weeks pregnant. My breast is so tender and really is very painful at this time (more than any another week so far). To the extent that even the shower hurts … I have some (very few) stripes on them. I know they are increasing in size, and get the milk production and all that … My question is how I suppose to breastfeed, if it hurts so much now? Is it worse after delivery, or better? I absolutly breastfeeding … but I'm afraid it is too painful. Is there anything I can do to improve it? Now or after delivery .. anyway? I support bras wear (without metal braces below) … but that is not enough. Anyway, if you have a trick or two .. or just comforting words you've been there, done that …. nothing really. Everyone is invited to respond, even men that the wife has been in the situation! … Thanks everyone! Have a good day!

the breast tenderness goes away after the nurse for a few weeks (which gets less and less each day). I know what you mean. I was terrified of showers with my first child. The Royal Infirmary dooesn't much damage at all and really can help. When the nurse of her body produces oxytocin, which is a bit like a Drug feeling good:). You can try to put cold cabbage leaves in your bra in Bra (that actually works). I also had these things compressing breast I have to earthbaby.com. It wee as Tea Bags which helped with great tenderness. You can get a bit of nipple cream (as lanisol) if you are really sensitive. Sometimes pads help too. If you can get through the first 2 or 3 days of nursing must be good. My BF had very sore breasts, and she said once she started nursing the pain is better too. Make sure you baby has a proper latch (face covering the whole areola, not just ipple) and try to avoid pumping a couple of weeks if you can. I nursed my first for 16 months and my twin 7 months. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
