Sterile Lancets

About human blood?
Okay I pricked my finger tip with a sterile lancet and I added a drop of my blood to an isotonic salt solution. I prepared two slides of my blood with isotonic solution. Then I added distilled water on the 1st slide and 50% salt solution on the other.
What does blood look like when viewed under a microscope on each of those cases? How are they different?
the one with distilled water should have swelled then hemolyzed and you wouldn’t really see any cells. The one with the salt should have shrunk (dehydrated the cell) before hemolyzing.
Regular blood under a scope in isotonic solution looks like very small dounuts, disc like with some depth.
