side effects from acupuncture…..?
I’m volunteering at a place where they have a lady come and do acupuncture for clients.. I was curious about it so she stuck two needles in my ear.. there were about 5 more needles to go and I didnt’ want anymore. I had those needles stuck about 5 hours ago and my ear is throbbing still. Is something wrong? The lady who did the acupuncture won’t be back until next Thursday there and I don’t have her #. I’m scared. Also worried that things were sterile because I volunteer at an agency with people infected with HIV who also had this done. I’m freaking out.. Probably for nothing but I don’t want to get anythng and I’m worried about the throbbing I’m experiecing.. Help….
My husband had similiar side effects when he got acupuncture done to his ears. Also he got a headache from it. I wouldn’t be too worried but of course if it doesn’t go away in a couple of days, I would call a doctor.
