How can I remove rust spots from stainless steel?
I'm trying to clean a stainless steel splash and some cooking utensils with brown spots that look like rust stains. I was able to eliminate most of them with stainless steel cleaner, but does anyone know any tricks?

The best way is to use an oxalic acid cleaner base and non-metallic green scrub pad. Do not use steel wool, metal or any platform, including stainless steel, because it really promote rust. Cover the surface thoroughly and then rinse and towel dry. Leave it alone for a week or two, and will reverse itself. You should not have to do this more than once, but can be repeated as necessary.
