What brand of stethoscope should I buy?
I am becoming a CNA and work my way into the nursing school. I want to buy a stethoscope. Does the brand or the price of the subject as far as the function and quality? I was watching the brand Sprague for $ 19.99 online. Any advice is appreciated
It depends on how serious you are about to see a wide range of (and clinically important) range of sounds. In medical school, I decided that what really is the rookie, not only experts, who need a good stethoscope. Cheap Stethoscopes an S4 not reveal pathological or pericardial friction rub. You do not need know these sounds like the CNA, but it makes learning to use a stethoscope much more interesting! I will not recommend a particular brand to you. My wife and I each owner a Littman.
