Sleep Apnea
What do you do when your spouse has been diagnosed with sleep apnea and will not use the machine?
My husband has sleep apnea and is not to use the machine. It also has diabetes. It will work, comes home for two hours sleep, he goes to bed at 12:00 in the morning and rises around 4:30 work. On weekends, he goes to sleep, if you leave about 14 hours a day. I would do this during the week, but he has to go to work. I do not know what do. I am very worried.
Unfortunately, not much I can do … You can show all information about sleep apnea and its effects health, how to improve sleep may actually improve diabetes, etc, etc, but until you do what you have to do, probably just heard it as "annoying" and ignore more diligently. If it becomes so bad, it could set an ultimatum that failure to start taking better care of himself, we will because he can not bear to see him take such risks with their health. I certainly would not recommend it, unless the marriage is irretrievably broken and it really would be okay with him if he said, "Okay, bye then." My thoughts are with you, it's very frustrating to see someone cares neglect themselves. Unfortunately, the options are fairly limited. I hope someone else has a more productive for you. Good luck.
