I created a panoramic image in PhotStitch Canon software. How can I keep a large print?
The program saves images in a really small size, not use to print and display. Can anyone tell me how can I save in a large size to make an impressive picture in my room? Thank you. Thanks Chealsa. I'm taking pictures with my 8-megapixel Canon IXUS 860. I have no idea how big the pictures are as I am not very good with these things, but I'll check. The current image size is 21175×1762
Hi, sometimes using Canon PhotoStitch software and does not reduce the file size unless you change the default settings. That only adds full-size images, as they often end up with a huge file. You say the current image size is 21,175 x 1762 which is 35MP + and is great for a photo! Normally we need something like 200 to 300 pixels per inch for a decent impression as being well with an impression of up to 100 inches wide – which is about 3m! His problem is that it will be less than 9 inches high, because the relationship between the image of your file is approximately 12:1 while a picture is usually normal 4:3 or 3:2. This is something I've noticed in photostitching. It ends with a long thin image that is useless for printing and seems a bit silly as a thin strip across the middle when viewed on a computer monitor. The individual photos stitched together in the image, the worse the problem. Unfortunately, I do not think there is a solution to this unless you limit the number of photos stitched together to no more than 2 or 3 in case of trouble. I hope that helps.
