How do I remove the passenger seat belt panel in 99 Ford Taurus and replaced without damaging the car?
My side of the belt passenger seat shall not extend or retract. I pulled on him and pulled him and tried to push again in vain. The seat belt does not extend enough for anyone seatbelt. I need this fixed immediately and a new belt is $ 226, so I'm hoping I get this panel is somehow without damaging the car. Thanks in advance for your help!
He had the same problem on a jeep that had a hammer head torx bolt with a socket driver. A couple hits and the decline in freedom and safety belts worked again Try hitting the metal area around the back with a hammer. The recoil spring inside gets dirty and gummed. or a shot of WD40 on the inside of the holder of decline might help if you have to take the belt first, disarm is easier to work. The plastic should not leave a screw usually under the recoil tape storage and keeping the loop over shoulder in the body
