Scooter Mobility

I have to buy a 4 wheel scooter from my grandfather, any suggestions on what to look?

He has his powers, but has a bad leg that makes it difficult mobility. It's really so you can leave the store, and maybe walk your little dog with him. Any help with things to look for or avoid would be great. And the relevant information on where to buy it would also help – I'm hopin to get it for around £ 500. Thanks

I have had dealings with them, although not for scooters, parts only, true joint service. Scooters Pride do go wrong, and because they are trying to make money with you, instead to pay less than £ 5 for a replacement throttle spring, you have to buy the entire unit of 40 pounds or something ridiculous like that (Pride GoGo-3 'scooter). Consider the second-hand models as you buy them, something might not work – for the 'made a profit "design one, the design of strange failures occur.
