Can you suggest a moped / scooter for me?

I like the look of the Kymco People 50 S, but my friend said that Japanese mopeds are not good, and I'm wondering if it is the same for the Taiwanese company Kymco? I love the look of classic motorcycles really little Italian. I guess to a really funky looking white with a red stripe and blue and a broad front headlight! Thanks:)

1: Does your travel buddy? If so, what? Perhaps his friend meant Chinese scooters, and I have some quality control problems. Checking a few scooter user group. Most of these people ride him give you plenty of information. If you are not mechanically inclined, shop at a local shop that will maintain for you. That is far more important rookie of the mark. I've been riding Japanese motorcycles for years and are above the line. I understand their scooters are so good. Kymco has been making scooters for time and the rate of Vespa in everything but price. I suggest setting up a couple and get the one that fits you best. Probably go with the Kymco throughout the first half of the year.
