rhumetoid arthritis

irresistable uncontrollable arm movments?
i have lyme and rhumetoid arthritis. very often there is this uncontrollable “urge” to move my arms, more often then not in a “violent” manner in it is fast and with more strenght then i thought i had. is this related to the arthritis or some other condition. my dr just really dosen’t do much about anything. i would switch but it is the VA so i would like to go to him with an idea of what is going on.
Unfortunately many doctors aren’t up to speed on lyme. I would agree that most likely the lyme has gotten into the brain, and causes a neurological reaction. It could be something else, but neurological symptoms are common.
The issue likely comes down to cost. The next step with mainstream medicine would be for you to go on IV antibiotics, which cost the healthcare system about $1000/wk.
I can imagine the VA wouldn’t be too hip on that.
I’m an advocate of holistic treatments, such as rife devices, herbs, nutritional support, accupuncture, etc.
To get better you’d probably need to go outside of the VA, and to a LLMD (lyme literate medical doctor) This is someone who specializes in lyme, and has no conflict of interest in terms of getting you better.
Or you could do some reading and self-treat. Many have taken this path and doing better.
I recommend two books: “the top 10 lyme disease treaments”. and “the lyme disease survival guide” I’ll give a link at the bottom to a source.
If I could recommend anything, it would be to get a rife device and do some nutritional support to Help Your body get the toxins out once you start killing bugs, and to provide general support.
Feel free to email me anytime if you have further questions. Take care.
