My wife and I lost a baby to SIDS when she was a few days – is because we both have asthma?
On 13 June 2005, my wife gave birth to twins, and Khauna Kidi. On June 16, our son died of SIDS (Khauna stopped breathing and could not revive him – the doctors told us he could have had an apnea). My wife and I have cut asthma (both have nebulizers, portable nebulizers, medications, enough to open a pharmacy, etc.) Do you think Khauna stopped breathing because of asthma? I have heard of childhood asthma before – which could explain why he stopped breathing? SIDS is more common if parents have asthma? We did have an autopsy – and the twins were born early. Due on September 2.
I am sorry for your loss. SIDS has many causes and not tested the links between asthma and SIDS. Just follow the guidelines say is, they are in the back, etc. because it does not really Final to know what causes it.
