Patella Strap
Does anyone have any experience with a patella strap?
I bought one not long ago and I've had some discomfort in the knee. I bought a new pair of shoes and have begun the necessary strengthening and stretching exercises. Since I have started using the strap pain seems to be manageable. My question is, do I be using this when I'm running? And belts do not mask the pain or to help heal?
The strap can be beneficial temporarily while it runs. However, it should not be used for an extended period of time to avoid addressing or trying to improve the physical condition of his knee. I suggest that perhaps a small key elastic knee while standing a lot when not running, but do not use this belt, except during training efforts or career.
