Is there something you can give a cat for pain?

I think he just pulled a muscle. She likes to deal with the dog and she is a cat older woman. I know you can not give aspirin to cats. Just curious. If it continues we're going to see the vet. I was wondering about the possibilities pain relief. Thanks for imput so far. I turned off the Heating Pad and not give him anything until he sees the vet. It instigates wrestling with the dog (which is not naughty, but nonthe means less). We are keeping her as calm as possible.

She should stay in a quiet setting in a small bed with a blanket. aspirin and paracetamol, are toxic to cats, so do not give anything. There are things your vet can give that will help.
