Are the large bags that require Agnes sleeping pads right?

I want to upgrade and shave weight from my backpacking equipment. I'm really interested in configuration that combines the great Agnes sleeping bag and pillow. Has anyone used this system and how they are held in cold weather?

Yes they are very comfortable. You can sleep in a pile of rocks and short notice. It stands out much in cold weather.
