What is the best for the heat spreads? Infrared, convection, conduction, heat lamp …? help.?

There are many options for the application of heat to the body. Some are: 1. Heat Pad 2. "Infrared" heat pad 3. Ceramics "TDD" heat lamp 4. UV heat lamp 5. hot towel 6. LED therapy 7. others? Im wondering what is best to penetrate well below the skin and relax the collagen, or ligaments. I know that some types of therapy actually strengthen, or tighten collagen / ligaments. Im looking for the opposite. To INCREASE EXTENSION OF MY REACH. Thanks to all who respond with a positive response.

Should I go with the head pads. I have these things that I can heat in the microwave – or cool in the freezer, if I need a cool pack. It's like a bean bag with a kind of grain in it (barley?). Hope that helps. I do not know about relaxation collagen.
