of urine in a spica cast?

my son slept through the night for the second time in his life, unfortunately, in a spica cast, and I slept all night too. managed to get the urine into the back of the casting, and do not know what to do. is wet so I put a pad there so CHUX it is not against your skin, but now I do not know how to clean it. I know I can dry it with a hairdryer, but I do not know what to do with smell. I use baking sodium outside, but what can I do to the inside?
