Shin splint type injury – slow healing?

So I have the ruin of all active people, leg cramps. The pain is over the medial tibia, I know that is pronation of the ankle joint (rolling my weight on the arch of the foot). I've been recording, ice, and legs generally stand for almost a week and the pain is still present, even when I'm walking. I dance classes, I am eager to return, but I'm worried about doing the worst damage. How long these injuries usually take to heal, and what can I do apart from those above in helping along? I I have no money to see a podiatrist at the moment, but I am considering strengthening my templates with some cuts of neoprene … any ideas about this?

Ok my physiotherapist recommended therapy pool or walk on water. NO water aerobics. I would say What if you can get in a pool and slightly extensible really be much help. You are cushioned by the water and it feels so awesome! it can not hurt!
