Is there a multi-purpose thermometer that I can buy for meats, sweets, and water?

So basically you could use a thermometer meat for making candies or measuring water temperature for yeast? I do not really want to buy a candy thermometer if I can stick it on a piece meat.

The most likely reason you will not be able to find a multi-use thermometer is the application while in use. thermometer meat is inserted into the meat to an internal temperature. A candy or water thermometer usually has a clip to attach to the side of the pot so that it can be read during cooking. There are 'probe thermometers, which has a wire-like remote reader / meter. They can work through the three points mentioned in your question, but I do not know how it would give the pot to cook sweet. Perhaps an employee of a cookware section of a shop selling the thermometer could advise you about which type of use. PS I just searched Google: kitchen used for the probe thermometer. And seen a number of sites, some with images. Go look.
