What kind of doctor to begin with – Can One Manage all my problems?

I have a congenital moderate valve insufficiency bicuspid aortic valve with ascending aortic aneurysm, I have a tumor of paravertebral (probably) Schwannoma in T4 (next to the aortic arch) and I antiphospholipid antibody syndrome. I read that the EPA can cause valve problems (thickening, in particular) and that has implications for management of warfarin, if I choose a mechanical valve, when it comes time to replace my aortic valve. The tumor needs to be monitored too … my surgeon said CT "delete" my neurosurgeon says, "we expect, is too close to the aorta." The CT surgeon does not address the issue of APS. Is there a document that can handle all three?

I agree that you need advice from someone certified in internal medicine to manage their case, especially with PHA, do not bother with a general practitioner or physician header. A cardiothoracic surgeon should be the one to advise on the valves and aneurysm. I think the TC would be the best surgeon to assess the problem the tumor and its relative position near the aorta. Can not he / she gets on the phone and talk to the neurosurgeon?
