Does anyone else's lower back hurt when trying to play golf? I'm new to golf and my lower back is killing me.

Oh my, I know that feeling very well (or poorly). I have lower Back Pain, when my swing rhythm is off and / or I am trying to overrun. Swing should be smooth, without a "pull" on it. Do not try to kill the ball, let the club do the work. If you have a nice, smooth swing pace, will effortless swing, and you will know that you can actually hit the ball further and straighter that way. Sometimes wish I could remember.
