Lavender Essential Oil 5 1 / 2 years old w / ADHD?

My son will be 6 April, which is very hyperactive. I mean very. He has never been diagnosed w / ADHD, but I'm sure he has. I have been researching on the Internet about the natural resources that can show w / him. Looking for something to calm him down alittle bits. Especially around bedtime, but also during the day too. I have read that some Essential Oils can help w / that. Like lavender and wood cedar, and some others. Does anyone have any advice for me? Has anyone used these and they worked? I went to the store today and the nature of the advice an employee who had purchased Nelson tension and stress. She said that after wearing a pair should notice a difference in 5 minutes. Well every day I repeated the recommended dose and do 1 thing. I did not notice anything different in their behavior. Also, how the oils are applied? I read a lot of people saying only Use a little, but what happens if you use too? Is it possible to overdose on it?

Essential oils are very strong and should be used with caution. I've also read on natural health magazines that Lavender Oil can mess with the endocrine system of young men and can lead to excessive growth of its mammary glands. I would not use it! There are many other soothing herbs out there to prove it. A change in diet can help tremendously. Should be low in carbohydrates refined, have lots of essential fatty acids (fish oil, walnuts, almonds, pumpkin seeds, and flaxseed), phosphatidylserine supplementation. It is common that children with ADHD have food sensitivities. I would have checked in and remove any food that is sensitive a.
