Alternatives to analgesics to relieve headache?

My boyfriend headaches almost every day and hates taking medication. It will take ibuprofen 3 but like everything I do. I want to help make you feel better and have suggested a relaxing lavender pillow over his eyes, but do not know where to find one. Anyone have any suggestions?
