What are the chances that my husband I will have Red Head Kids?

My husband and I both have red hair. Mine is more of a strawberry blonde. But are we likely to have red headed kids?

Red is one of the most recessive genes for hair colour. Generally, it skips generations, and it’s pretty rare to have more than one red-headed child in a single generation in a family.

You’re probably going to be MORE likely than the average couple to have a red-headed child since both of you carry the same hair-colour gene. But, don’t be surprised if you have a child with different coloured hair, that still has fair skin.
