Gait Belt

CNA … I'll get in trouble?

So I was helping a resident of the transfer of the bath seat in the bed. and has yet to have a gait belt on him. He slipped, but has not hurt. We had to do an accident report to him. Am I going to dismiss because after what happened? They did not mention anything to me the day it happened.

You can write them as an educational experience (ie what happens when no do what they are trained and how they have been trained to not let this happen again). Normally they are dismissed for a first offense unless it is significant.
