Freedom Lite
Can I use any type of Strips with my Glucose Monitoring System?
I have a FreeStyle Freedom Lite Meter. I got it from my educator in the Nutrition Diabetes Class. But I found that it’s strip are so expensive to me. So I’m just wondering if I can use any type of strips for this meter or not?

No, unfortunately you have to use the strips with the same name as the meter… my parents would love it if they could by cheaper strips but I have to buy the FreeStyle Lite strips also (I have the FreeStyle Lite meter… not the Freedom). They hate it; It’s so expensive! Maybe your insurance would cover a cheaper meter, then you could change strips. I read about the True2Go meter, the strips are a little cheaper.
I love my country, but I’m tired of the “freedom-lite”…
