Footbath Foot
Very large wooden bowl ?
I am looking to buy a very large wooden bowl, that has quite deep sides. I run an Alternative Therapy business and would like to offer clients a footbath before their treatment. Though I thought it would be nicer in a large ethnic looking bowl rather than the electrical foot baths. Can anyone give me any idea where to purchase one. I have tried on the web, but had no luck

Sauna buckets, bowls and tubs are often crafted to traditional designs from japan, mainland asia and scandinavia.
The woods are chosen for properties (oils etc) that add to the therapeutic nature of the steam & heat treatments. And most wood has natural antibacterial properties, and can be easily sterilised with bleach or salt water (which is why it’s the best thing for butchers’ chopping blocks).
Some woods are traditionally used for food containers and utensils, because they don’t affect the taste of the food, in the way that other woods can.
You might be able to get a range of different bowls, with properties that suit the different types of treatment you’re offering.
