Flower Essences

Has anyone tried using flower essences? With what results?

I recently tried a Stress Relief remedy from Bach’s Flower Remedies and it seemed to work, but Idk if it is just psychological. I am interested in pursuing the interest but I don’t want to waste my time if it is really just silliness.

It really works for me. I use Rescue Remedy for stress/anxiety (oral spray) and the oinment for bruises and such. Any treatment, western or alternative, is enhanced by believing it works, because in believing that you are healing you are encouraging your body to heal. There are some really good Bach Remedy books available (I checked out several from my library when I was researching alternative forms of treatments). While the rescue remedy is helpful, it is one of the only Bach remedies that is a standard formula, other than that formulas are designed specific to people and their ailments.

If you are interested, I’d encourage you also to explore aromatherapy and acupuncture (either Traditional Chinese medicine or sasang medicine) and qigong. There are many alternatives to western medicine in treating ailments, both short and long term that do not have side affects but do promote long term to permanent relief of the ailments (not just treating pain)
