The relief of redness of the Eye Drops?

Well I was wondering what the best brand of eye drops is for redness? I have tried to Visine and does not work so well for me. And I have Advance Bausch & Lomb Redness Relief (or something) that works to "Stoner" red eye. But I go to the beach a lot and always come back with red eyes and I hate it! Same as the pool. Therefore, any idea? Or eyewash might work better? Any help, many thanks. I used Visine AC (for allergies) and Visine for redness. Neither worked for, redness, irritation only.
