Why do men answer questions about pregnancy?
I can understand very general questions but I’m talking about the ones that are specific to women! They are so off the cuff and out of pocket. The response usually doesn’t answer the question in the first place. I know Yahoo! Answers isn’t the authority on pregnancy but geesh!
That’s like me, a pregnant woman answering a question about a digital prostate exam. Unless I’m doctor I don’t think I would give an accurate answer, even if my husband have them. It’s just not the same…
okay, not parenting….but pregnancy itself.
and did anyone at all read the example I gave? A man doesn’t know what it is get a pelvic exam, or go thru labor…themselves! Like I don’t know what its like to be circumsized, have a prostate exam, or anything like that. Sure, I can go from my husbands experiences or google it, and I’m not a doctor. So the odds are of me getting it right or sound educated on the topic is slim because I have never experienced it….that’s what I mean.

Women have to get impregnated somehow….
Regardless of the “doctor” title, some of us ARE relatively familiar with how a pregnancy works, I am not saying I am the worlds foremost authority on pregnancies, however, I did take a vested interest in my significant others pregnancies.
As with the prostate issue, I would also expect my wife to be somewhat educated on that subject on my behalf, as it is something that also could affect our lives.
Any man that impregnates a woman SHOULD be educated about their spouses medical issues, regardless of type. That is love, is it not?
