Count Diabetic
How often to do a fetal kick count?
My OB is having me do kick counts because ive had a couple episodes of decreased fetal activity and the amniotic fluid is a little low. I know how to do them but they didnt tell me how often. Ive been doing them about every 4 hours during the day after i eat. IM on a diabetic low sodium diet(YUCK!) i eat 6 small meals a day.
Im 38 weeks 2 day pregnant.

I was todl one hour in the morning and one hour in the evening.
if within one of those hours you don’t feel 10 kick counts to eat a snack or drink something and start again.
I’m 31 weeks now and I’ve realized I feel a lot more movement with my hand on my belly as opposed to just feeling it from the inside… his movement is a lot softer and he’s doing this “rolling” thing… and my dr. said to count ANY movement…
I also feel him more when laying on my back.
