What kind of heat lamp should I get for my young corn snake?

I just wanted to know what kind of light I use to keep my corn snake pool. What is the best-watt bulb and how much it would cost to run. any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

under a tank heater is the best bet for a corn snake. lamps do not turn off enough heat to keep themselves warm corn. the UTH should be large enough to cover about 1 / 3 of the bottom of the tank. put it under the tank, not the inside, and keep a thermometer in the cage, at bottom, to make sure it does not get too hot (75-85 degrees F)
