Understandably adolescence?
It is during adolescence is not understandable to want to wear a hearing aid?. I am now 24 have a hearing loss severe in the left ear normally hear in my right. He wore a hearing aid when he was 5 until I was in 8th grade. My mother thought often must use them, but she was not arguing with me. I still have good grades without them I made the honor roll junior and senior year in high school. When I was a teenager my mom said she liked me when I was 5 I told you not a teenager then. Teen is quite understandable that they do not want to use them. I'm still not crazy about using them since the only type is the type of BTE hearing aid. The type BTE is the only option. Since I loss.The nerves I had were great. My mom told me not hear as well as everyone does that sound kind of insult? It makes me kind of crazy because people can not hear at all. Most people have normal hearing but There are deaf people out there.
Have you learned another way to communicate? Sign language or cued speech? I know many stories of children who had their hearing AIDS because their parents did, and then learned ASL and got rid of aid altogether, based on the interpreters for their education and stick to cultural norms and habits of the Deaf.
