What happens when you eat a tablespoon of whole black pepper?

You know how everyone knows about the challenge of Cinnamon, and the challenge salt? Well, I tried the Cinnamon Challenge (Epic Fail), and then I heard the Challenge of salt. Well, I had no salt, so I decided to try pepper. So I wondered if I could seriously injure myself eating a spoonful of whole black pepper?

Black pepper not really is digested by the body strangely enough. Nothing would happen to others, then you feel like your throat closes and you cough a lot and it burns your mouth like a madman, but will to be fine after an hour or two and then would go out of your system much later and possibly may have a burning sensation that leaves your body. Nasty! =)
