USB Port Away From A Computer?
Alrighty, my little brother got this neat owl which you plug into a USB port and it sits there and bobs its head and blinks at you. We’ve had it perching on our Wii with the cable plugged into the back, but he wants it in is room. Its not smart or anything (as in the USB cable is only for electricity). Does anyone know of anywhere I could buy a USB port which is battery operated, solely for an electric charge, or a USB to AC converter? I know this seems rather weird… but I’m sure there’s one SOMEWHERE. Thanks a tons!

Energizer sells a USB power pack that uses standard AA batteries. It’s normally used as a phone charger:

You need the LG/Mini-USB one, and an adapter that turns mini-USB back into whatever plug or port that your device uses.
