When you turn the key and the starter goes click does this mean the starter is getting all the power it needs to turn, if so why won’t it turn? This is on a 1992 Isuzu Amigo 2.6L. I was told it could be a starter relay, but I checked and there is an empty hole in the fuse box where it say’s it should be, so I guess there isn’t one for this kind of vehicle, I don’t know…? I replaced the starter and I’m still having the same problem. Sometimes it turns and starts and somtimes it won’t. Seems to be some kind of short. The battery and wires all seem to be okay, so I don’t know what could be causing the starter to not turn. Does anyone have any answers? Thanks!
if you replaced the starter(with a new one right), and it clicks when you turn the key to start, it has to the batery or the conection at the starter.
