Hey what chemistry experiment can you carry out to show if ethanol is a good replacement for hydrocarbon fuel?
Like how they use gasahol in brazilian cars instead of gaoline.
I was thinking about putting the ethanol in a water bath but i think it may cause an explosion.
how about in a calorimeter, you heat up the same amounts of the two compounds and mesassure how much heat and for how much time they heat, compare those two numbers and there you go.
