Do you Drumline / Marching Band a sport?

A lot of people I speak to say Drumline marching band and sports and are not are only leisure activities. What are your thoughts?

I thought the band as a sport for 4 years that I did. It requires tons of work and involved a lot of exercise. Those who say that you should try some time. It is more difficult than one might think that march and play an instrument at the same time, the more so when you have to do it in harmony with others. Certainly, we had fun, but there was much work involved, and they were definitely out in the field every day after school at least until 4:30 when most sports teams had left long before. Without doubt, requires as much physical ability as any other sport and definitely would consider one.
