Aviva Diabetic

I am diabetic and I was wondering …?
Hello, I have type 1 diabetes (and for some people out there, this kind does not come from eating too much sugar and not our fault) and I just wanted to ask some questions. 1.Why strips are so expensive .. cost more than the meter itself (Accu-Chek Aviva i use nano) 2. How Where does the insulin (Humalog use i) really? 3.I use an insulin pen and sometimes not have enough insulin to my food, so I'm teeenny a bit high, I should bother to take a quarter of a unit to be on the safe side, or simply do not bother .. It is not that just a little bit high
1 – Each band must done in strict sterility. That is sterile air, chemicals completely sterile, completely sterile plastic, etc. .. It is a very expensive. I live int the United Kingdom, and it's free here, so I have no idea how much they cost, or about insurance. 2 – Humalog is as any other insulin. It is a complicated process, but I have attached a link to explain. 3 – I personally do not mind if you're only a little higher will not make much difference.
