altar training manual for senior adults?
I do not believe there is a separate altar manual for seniors. Altar servers are volunteers. Usually the Church accepts anyone that wishes to serve. Therefore the training would be the same. I would think it would be up to each individual Church on how to handle older volunteers.
Please do not be dismayed. Go ahead and do what you feel is right for you in your Church. Do not let age be a factor.
I’llll explain to all you having problems understanding. This is a something that members of a Catholic Church aspire to. It is a volunteer job that basically helps out around the Church, but more specially during Mass. The Altar is that place were Communion is offered. The volunteer may do something as simple as cleaning the altar area before the Communion.
