Abdominal Binder
What is that yellow discharge in the area of the incision after appendectomy?
I had my open appendectomy last week. The surgeon told me that the appendix has ruptured so he had to do a lap of EXPLORE (inch incision below the navel to the groin area of approximately 5 inches). While recovering a discharge yellow pus similar to one of the stitches. The court clerk two stitches to squeeze this liquid out of my belly. This happened twice. Every time I remove my abdominal binder, yellow liquid soaking my meter.
Is the pus. Make sure you are taking antibiotics and until there are no more.
